On a clear night you can see numerous stars in the sky. These stars are millions of miles away. Scientists want to know what these stars are like. Are they balls of fire? Do they have large rocks and sand, like our moon? There is another question they want to know much more about? Are there living things on any of the planets surrounding these the stars? People have always thought about this question. It was not possible to find the answer before now. Now scientists know more about space than ever before. Now they have some machines that can help them look for the answer. How will scientists do this? People can't go to the stars. Stars are much too far away. It would take hundreds of years for a person to go to the next star in a spaceship. So scientists are sending out radio signals. These signals go through space at the speed of light, almost 6 trillion miles a year. At that speed, it will take 25 years for radio signals to reach the next star. The signals ask, "Is anyone out there?" Living things in space must have machines to hear the signals. We will not get an answer to our signals for more than 50 years, but scientists are already listening. They think that someone from space may be trying to send signals to us. Scientists also have sent large telescopes into space. A telescope is a machine that makes things look larger. When you look into it, things that are far away look nearer. The telescopes are going around the earth. They are looking out into space. They are looking for life in other worlds. Maybe in the next few years we will get an answer to the question "Is there life in space?"

THE SHOW WOMAN

In our daily life, when we look at people we can see a lot of different lives. My story is about a girl ‘’ called Marien ‘’ who is not happy with her school, family, friends …etc.
Marien has been at her own home with her family for a few days. Now the holiday has finished and it is time to go back to school. Actually, she can’t decide that she neither want to go nor doesn’t want. But she finds herself at the bus finally.
The weather was snowing slowly, when she was reading book with her coffee and music. After a while, an old strange woman gets off the bus and sits near Marien. The woman started to knit something and sometimes gives a look to Marien. After she asks 2 what is this book about?’’ they started to talk about each other. The woman tells to Marien her story about a TV program for entertainment. When Marien heard this, she was really interested about woman , because there was always a dream just like becoming a show woman on a TV show in Marien’s heart.
She tells the woman about her dream and the woman insists on Marien to come with her. Marien was shocked for a second because she has just found the way to catch her dreams. Finally she decided to follow her dreams and go to show with the woman.
The woman takes Marien to near her at home and teaches to be courageous on program. Marien tries and tries everyday. After a few months she becomes a talented show woman. The woman is proud of Marien and refers her boss about she.
After a few months Marien becomes a really successful show woman on TV and their family and friends call her. They were really anxious about Marien for a long time , so they were a bit angry with Marien. But now , everyone is proud of Marien’s success.
