YÖKDİL

At English Time, there are specialized preparation programs designed for students who aim to achieve high scores in exams recognized both nationally and internationally. Unlike General English courses, these preparation programs offer exam-oriented instruction tailored specifically to the content and structure of each exam. The courses are delivered by experienced instructors who specialize in exam preparation, and up-to-date materials are used throughout the training.

YÖKDİL (Foreign Language Exam for Higher Education Institutions) is organized under the coordination of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in cooperation with Anadolu University and Ankara University. The exam questions are prepared by Ankara University, while the exam organization is carried out by Anadolu University.

The YÖKDİL exam is administered in the fields of Science, Health Sciences, and Social Sciences, and is offered in German, Arabic, French, and English. The exam is open to candidates who wish to apply for postgraduate education or the associate professorship exam, as well as those who are required to submit an academic language proficiency score for academic promotion at universities.

The training programs are conducted in two different groups: Pre-YÖKDİL and YÖKDİL. The education system is practice-based and designed in line with the exam format and strategies.

1. Pre-YÖKDİL programs include General English instruction and are designed for students whose English proficiency level is below Level 3.
2. YÖKDİL programs, on the other hand, do not include General English instruction and are intended for students with an English proficiency level of Level 4 and above.

Throughout the program, students’ progress is closely monitored through regular exams and assessments.

In YÖKDİL exam preparation programs, up-to-date course books published by Time Publications are used as the main educational materials. All course materials are provided free of charge, and students are additionally supported with supplementary resources in line with their progress.

At English Time, information regarding which campuses offer YÖKDİL preparation programs and their starting dates is announced regularly. Students who enroll in any of the ESP or Test Programs can benefit free of charge from English Time’s activity classes and all other social events throughout the program.
